Released in 2020 as part of Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas programming, "Christmas Waltz" was filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and stars Lacey Chabert and Will Kemp.

My thoughts
If I could only use one word to describe "Christmas Waltz", it would be enchanting. From beginning to end, I thought it was enchanting!
The storyline is simple and straightforward enough, but what really makes this movie work is the ease and chemistry that Lacey Chabert and Will Kemp have with each other.
The beautiful dance sequences, music, and wardrobe don't hurt either!
Lacey Chabert plays Avery, a woman who was set to be married in just a few weeks during Christmas. Things don't work out with her fiance but she decides to keep their dance lessons anyway.
Will Kemp plays Roman, the dance studio owner and Avery's instructor.
I found the plot and dialogue to be believable along with the light banter between Roman and Avery.
The dance scenes however were the highlight for me. Will Kemp is a classically trained dancer and it shows. His dancing was elegant and Lacey Chabert did a lovely job as well.
The dance sequence where Roman is upset with Avery and she doesn't realize anything is wrong until they're dancing...I could feel Avery's confusion and hurt through the tv screen.
It was such a moving and well done scene with so much emotion conveyed without the use of words.
Final rating
I said it above and I'll say it again...enchanting! I loved every aspect of this movie and it's quickly become a favorite.
On a scale of 1 to 5, I give it a 5
