An ad executive who's too busy to do his own Christmas shopping seeks help from a struggling artist turned personal shopper. It's a fun watch until the problematic ending!

Plot summary and other info!
"When Anna, an unemployed painter, is unable to make ends meet, she is hired to become a personal Christmas shopper for Marc, an uptight corporate exec. As they work together, Marc learns that Christmas giving has less to do with the amount of money spent and more to do with the importance of the gift, while Anna discovers she might find success as an artist in a way she never expected."
"12 Gifts of Christmas" was released in 2015 as part of Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas programming. The movie was filmed in Salt Lake City, Utah and stars Katrina Law, Aaron O'Connell, and Donna Mills.
My thoughts
"12 Gifts of Christmas" has a typical Christmas storyline of busy business executive who realizes that family is more important, especially during the holidays.
The movie isn't groundbreaking by any means but still fun and enjoyable to watch.
The two main characters, Anna and Marc, have good chemistry.
I enjoyed watching Marc help Anna become more confident and Anna help Marc realize the joys of family and thoughtfulness.
Anna's ability to find the "perfect" gift for others is something that I aspire to myself!
I really had a problem with Marc stealing Anna's painting to use in an ad campaign without her permission. He even altered it slightly. I can definitely understand why she was so upset with him.
Unfortunately Anna forgives Marc very quickly and even calls herself dramatic for being upset about her stolen work. No honey, you're not dramatic! It's never ok to steal someone else's work, no matter how pure the intention.
What was that?
When Marc asks Anna how much she charges to be a personal shopper, she has no answer for him. Not a great business move!
Most memorable line!
"Decorations don't have to be fancy or made by an artist. It's about the memories and thought you put into them."
Said by Anna to her nieces while making Christmas decorations.
Final rating
This was a pretty middle of the road Christmas movie. Not amazing but definitely not the worst either. I enjoyed watching it but because of the ending, I probably won't watch it again.
On a scale of 1 to 5 I give it a 2
